Last week I mentioned I’ve gone on a shopping hiatus until the (rapidly approaching!) wedding. It’s terrible to admit but after only two months I’m already bored with my closet. Ugh – I know what you mean! I've been trying so desperately to stop shopping to save for a trip to California in June. I never realized how bored I'd get with my wardrobe so soon! The lariat is beautiful.

I've always loved the idea of updating your clothes with accessories, particularly necklaces and scarves. Especially pretty are the stella & dot necklaces, they would wow up any old outfit.

I'm really digging the necklaces, but I have to say: I worry I have no idea how to accessorize. I just never see the big picture of the whole outfit. And I wish I did. I wish I could walk into a store pick out a necklace or bracelet and know what to put it with. But I don't. I need fashion accessory lessons.
