Last week I mentioned I’ve gone on a shopping hiatus until the (rapidly approaching!) wedding. It’s terrible to admit but after only two months I’m already bored with my closet. That is why I’m getting on the accessorize bandwagon. It’s the quickest and simplest way to make something old new again and Apartment 34’s newest sponsor, Stella & Dot has exactly what I need.

I’ve decided I’m going to rely on the jacket this spring. It gives me the versatility my closet really needs right now. Adding a perfect accessory or two would provide so many options all in one.

Switch things up with a different tank, a layered T-shirt, or a classic button up and great necklace. Looks for days. Check out Stella & Dot if your wardrobe needs a little pick me up. Just be sure to tell them Apartment 34 sent you.
Happy Monday!

  1. this yellow coat is the second one I've seen on your blog and I'm drooling for them. I'd love one for spring. And how sweet are the necklaces with the ribbon backs? Love those

  2. Ugh – I know what you mean! I've been trying so desperately to stop shopping to save for a trip to California in June. I never realized how bored I'd get with my wardrobe so soon! The lariat is beautiful.

  3. I've always loved the idea of updating your clothes with accessories, particularly necklaces and scarves. Especially pretty are the stella & dot necklaces, they would wow up any old outfit.

  4. This is such a fantastic post. I am trying to save money and won't buy anything new, but totally needed some new pick-me-ups.

  5. I'm really digging the necklaces, but I have to say: I worry I have no idea how to accessorize. I just never see the big picture of the whole outfit. And I wish I did. I wish I could walk into a store pick out a necklace or bracelet and know what to put it with. But I don't. I need fashion accessory lessons.

  6. Wow! A shopping hiatus? I went one month not shopping and nearly had a heart attack every time I walked by a sale sign. Kudos to you!
