Guess What….

What’s that saying? Oh yes, the only consistency in life is change. It is so true. After nearly a year of enjoying the loft life in our first home in San Francisco, we’ve decided we needed yet another change. That’s right luvies, I’m excited to finally get to share the big news…

I know what you’re thinking. Didn’t we love the loft life and put all this work into it? Yes, we did, very much. It’s just that we didn’t love the 40,000 “enthusiastic” SF Giants fans that currently spill out into our front yard six days a week. We’ve loved the views, not so much the noise and lack of sleep.

But not to worry, we aren’t going far. We’re only moving a few miles down the road. Better yet, we’re moving into another loft!

I’m actually so excited about our new home. I can’t wait to evolve our decor and create a space that feels settled for the long term. And, for the first time ever, I’m also going to get to design an official Apartment 34 office!  Needless to say I’ve already been hard at work banking serious inspiration {it’s all on Pinterest here!}. So get ready, the loft life is expanding!

The crazy part of all of this….we’re moving THIS Saturday. Yup, that means boxing it all up, packing it out and starting over in four short days. Needless to say, I’m a tad overwhelmed. This is where you come in luvies.

Would you like to be featured on Apartment 34?

Since I’m going to buried in boxes for the next couple weeks, I’m going to have a little less time for blogging. So I thought what better time to feature YOU.

Here’s what I’m thinking:

Last month we started a new column called Live Here, Decorate With This. I’d love for you to share your own take on a Live Here, Decorate With This post. All you need to do is pick an inspirational room and then select the pieces you’d use to recreate that look at home*.

Send your post to info@apartment34.com for consideration and I’ll post {and pin and tweet and FB} my favorites all next week!

You just need to act quickly, the submission deadline is Saturday, Sept 22!!

While another move is daunting, I do love the rush of design inspiration it’ll bring. Don’t worry, the loft life will go on – just 2.0 style!

*To submit your Live Here, Decorate With This post, please send a jpeg + your text or  the complete HTML code for your post to info@apartment34.com. Please make all images 600px wide and remember to site your sources!

  1. Congrats on the new space! I can completely relate to living out of boxes for a while. Can’t wait to see how you fluff the new space!

  2. Congrats on the new place! I love the offices, and can’t wait to see what you do with your new space.

PS, I got the heck out of dodge when I lived by Wrigley Field, one of our baseball stadiums. Too many drunk people all summer long. Seemed like it was always baseball season.

  3. I’m sure that this new home is going to be even more stunning than your current one (and a lot less noisy!). Good luck with the move – can’t wait to see the new space!

  4. How exciting! I used to live close to to AT&T park as well, and when the Giants played, it was a riot outside. No complaints though, when they won the World Series. That was one of the highlights of living in SoMA!

  5. Living near AT&T park does have its drawbacks but you really are in a great area! Question about the post – I noticed in your series, in the “decorate with this” portion of the post, the items were all from one place. Is that a requirement or do you mind if the decorative items are from a few different sources? TX – Can’t wait to get started!

  6. How exciting! Can’t wait to see what you do with the new place. I too need some more home office inspiration!
