Luvies, I’ve wanted to figure out a way to start sharing more of my personal style with you for quite some time now. So when Brandon and Arlene, the style geniuses behind KitThis {and the stylists of Rue’s most recent fashion feature} asked if they could stop by and capture my take on Fall trends, I leaped at the chance! We had a ball raiding my closet to compile some September-ready looks. And thankfully the loft roof proved to be the perfect backdrop for our shoot.
This look incorporates all three of my fall must-haves! An oversized coat is going to be your go-to accessory. You can throw it on over literally anything and it heaps up your chic factor enormously. It also is quite roomy – perfect for longer nights filled with comfort food!

What I’m wearing: red jbrand denim, jnby coat similar, philip lim blouse {similar}, raen sunnies, tw steel watch
Thankfully, you don’t need to shelve the bright pants you picked up this summer. Color definitely sticking around for fall. To reinvent it, you just need to pair your colored denim with warmer, richer tones or deeper neutrals for a fresh take on the look.
I’m also excited about the return of some oldie, but goodie shoe styles. I’m so ready to give my camel colored Marc Jacobs Mary Janes another spin around the block!
What I’m wearing: club monaco turtleneck similar, joie pleated skirt, club monaco belt, dries van noten boots similar, marion vidal necklace c/o Modewalk
I’ve also been a long believer in the statement necklace, but the piece by Marion Vidal that I’m wearing {her pieces are available here & here}, takes it to a whole other level. I’d love to frame it someday!
And watch out, but the turtleneck is making a serious comeback. It suddenly seems simple and chic, not dowdy at all. Funny how that happens, isn’t it? Just make sure you get a nice cashmere or jersey version, you want it to be nice and thin.
But if you’re still a little doubtful about what to rock this season, there is one sure-fire accessory that will always turn heads…
what i’m wearing: madewell leather jacket, anthropologie embroidered blouse similar
Because Chloe is always going to keep me in style. Trust me, I know I’m lucky!
Thanks again to the lovely ladies at KitThis for having me. Be sure to head over to see even more outfit pics, and a few sneak peeks into the loft life too!
