Monday Work Wear {Blaze New Trails}

There’s a list of items every woman should have in her closet. A great blazer sits right near the tippy top of it.

Blazers lend an aire of sophistication to anything you’re wearing,from a shift dress to a t-shirt and skinny jeans. They will come to the rescue in fashion emergencies more times than you know. The above version by Won Hundred for Madewell has a lovely architectural flare that immediately caught my eye. Blazers no longer haver read conservative. They can pack a fashion forward punch of their very own.

Sadly, the Madewell versions is already sold out, but here are a few other options that would take your basic workwear look to another level.

  1. I totally agree. I often wish I had a great blazer that I could pair with an outfit when I’m really in dire need of a “completer” piece. I just bought one yesterday that I’m hoping can be that piece for me.

  2. I’m always wearing a blazer to work! They pull together an outfit so easily! The last one you featured is just so fabulous!

  4. I like the tailored feel of a blazer. It’s funny how I associate blazers with work. I should try and incorporate them into my everyday wardrobe. They can dress up any outfit.
