Taste Treat: Gift Guide Brigade

I’ve finally come to grips with the fact that the gift buying season has begun. But the overwhelm can be a bit paralyzing.

Thankfully, Meg and Katie have come to our rescue. They’ve gathered the discerning eyes of a fabulous bevy of bloggers who have done all the digging for us. It’s all in one place, the newly published jam packed guide: To & From!

Oh and I might have contributed a few finds too. I focused on items too fun and frivolous not be utterly desirable.

The secret to giving the perfect gift is finding something another will enjoy, ideally love, might not ever buy for themselves and have use for {even if it’s just to marvel at}. I’d say To & From has that in spades.  The only problem with gift guides is how easy it is to shop for ourselves. I couldn’t help but make little wishlist too!

Flip through To & From and your holiday stress will melt away {just hide your credit card}!

Monday Work Wear {Straight Shot}

One of the toughest parts about personal style is finding the silhouette that suits you best. One of my go-to’s is the stove pipe pant. Forgiving, leg-elongating and comfortable to boot, the straight-legged look is kinda fool proof.

The secret is pairing the wider leg with a more tailored top. As we look toward the arrival of December {what???} I’m loving the juxtaposition of a waist skimming sweater.

Carry a small scale bag like an envelope clutch to keep the easy, chic style in proper proportion.

So pull on your pants luvies, leave your oversized bag at home and hit the streets sporting some serious style.
