Happy {Toe-Tappin’} Weekend

I originally had an entirely different post ready for today. Has that ever happened to you? It was going to philosophical, a bit reflective – a departure from all the holiday happy we’ve been seeing everywhere.

Because I hate to sound like a cynic, but I’m one of those people who have found it rather difficult to get into the holiday spirit this year. Our house isn’t decorated yet, I haven’t bought one gift. It’s all been feeling too fast and too soon for my liking.

But then, suddenly, it all changed and I have no one but Jimmy Fallon to thank.

Now I want to spend my weekend watching Love Actually and The Holiday back to back. Come on, admit it, you could watch them three times in a row. Each!

So for now I’m going to try to put the cynical aside and embrace the festive feeling. Well, at least for today!

Till Monday luvies,

PS: there are gift guides, giveaways and all kinds of fun stuff going on this week so be sure to thumb back through if you’ve missed any of it!

AND this blog post is just adorable, too!

Love the movies! I could probably push it and make it 4 times in a row!

  4. Dear Eric,

Just wanted to say hi and nice to meet you. I’m just around the corner – Tiburon – and though I’d say hi and thanks for sharing such a wonderful yet funny video. Would love to hear from you. I’ve recently moved to the area from NY and do not know many people here. So, have a good weekend! xx
