Apologies for the brief absence, but we have some big projects going on around here! The currently pressing one being the design of the first ever Apartment 34 office.
With a photo shoot looming, I’m buried under paint chips, rug samples and more boxes than I can keep track of. I cannot wait to be able to reveal it to you luvies {be sure to watch Instagram this weekend for sneak peeks!}
Often, the hardest part of the design process is zeroing on an inspiration. It’s so easy to get pulled in multiple directions. I think I’ve got the office design nailed down now {here’s hoping!} but I thought I’d share one of my top inspiration images with you in a long overdue edition of Live Here, Decorate With This.
I’m a sucker for draft style desks and the light blonde tone of this wood one just makes me want to sit down and be productive! I’d love to glam it up a notch with brassy office accessories. I cannot wait to have a workspace that’s both more organized and more inspiring than my couch!

Best of luck in putting together your office! All of these picks are wonderful; I’m especially fond of the mouse pads, which I’ve been eyeing for months now. My own home office has been under construction for months now. We slowly moved all of our extras into a storage unit, finally finished painting the walls, and just last week ordered some furniture. I’m so glad to have your blog as another source of inspiration as we move forward!
