Minted.com Art Wall{s} Revealed + A Giveaway!

Remember when Joslyn, Caitlin and I revealed our Minted.com Art Wall challenge and the prints our husbands picked out? I’m so excited to get to reveal the looks!

Chris had selected A City at Night by Shannon Chen. I had the fun challenge of selecting our pieces and then moving! While we moved from one loft to another, our wall spaces are configured much differently. This proved to be a fascinating lesson in scale. Now for the reveal…. {sorry, my photography skills need serious work!}

While I’d intended to create a large gallery wall featuring all four pieces, I ended up with two different displays. I’d selected A City at Night to be framed at a really large scale in white. While we no longer had a really large blank wall to accommodate a big dramatic gallery, the large piece is perfect in our entryway! I love opening the front door and seeing the cool, calming tones. It always makes the house feel clean and organized.

The other three prints were all selected for their references to urban settings. I also loved that the ampersand, Berlin skyline and image of the Mission here in San Francisco were all photographs. And luckily they not only all work wonderfully together, they looked great leaning about our new fireplace! I really like the casual feel of leaning, rather than hanging all of my art. It also makes for really easy rearranging.

Now the fun begins for YOU – this is the Giveaway part of this post. Minted wanted to give one lucky reader their very own piece of art for their home and so Caitlin, Joslyn and I are running a three-way giveaway.

Here’s how to enter:

~ Leave a comment on this post, telling us which piece of art is your favorite from Minted and where you would put it in your house. That’s it! Just be sure to include your email address.

One winner will be selected from Apartment 34Simple Lovely and Sacramento Street. The winner can then select the piece of art of their choice in any size they desire!

The winner will be chosen randomly and announced across all three blogs on Monday, December 10th!

Good luck luvies!

    I’ve been searching for the perfect print for our new home and have been leaning towards bringing in warm colors, it’s a pretty even tie between “Highway Wildflowers” and “Peonies in Vase”. apaulinegates@gmail.com
