Tasty Tuesday: Eggnog Cheesecake Bar Recipe

With a week until the big ole’ holiday, it’s time to start menu planning luvies! What are your favorite holiday goodies? Do you have a traditional indulgence?

I love incorporating a few new recipes to my Christmas repertoire each season. It keeps the holiday menus fresh and the cooking duties fun. I’m excited to add these Eggnog Cheesecake Bars to my must-try list!!

Eggnog + chocolate? Does it really get any better than that?? With two weeks left until resolution time kicks in, I say kick back and enjoy! I know I will be.

Eggnog Cheesecake Bars by Sheila G. Mains

Ingredients

1 Stick of butter
2 Cups Brownie Brittle crumbs
2 pkg cream cheese (8oz) softened
1Ž2 Cup sugar
1 TBL flour
1Ž2 Cup eggnog
2 Eggs
1Ž2 Cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Nutmeg to sprinkle on top

Crust:
Mix 1 stick of melted butter with 2 Cups of Brownie Brittle crumbs.

Press into a greased 9 x 13 pan and Bake for 8 min at 350°

Mix cream cheese, sugar, flour, eggnog, and eggs  together.  Add chocolate chips.

Pour over crust.

Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

Cool – then sprinkle nutmeg on top.

  1. I wish it was still Christmas. I’d have a excuse to make these. If I make them now I’ll eat them all. If it’s Christmas at least some of my guests will get them.
