Tasty Tuesday: {Cook Here, Eat This}

There’s something about a bright white kitchen, no matter the dimensions, that brings a smile to my face. This galley kitchen may be teeny tiny, but it certainly is efficient when it comes to entertaining. You simply need to turn 180 degrees to serve your guests at the brilliant breakfast bar.

As the my guru Tim Gunn would say… make it work! This space certainly does.

It also seems like the perfect place from which to serve a simple but delicious appetizer. I’m a big fan of disguising vegetables as something much more naughty. These Parmesan Green Bean Fries certainly do the trick. I suddenly know what I’m baking up tonight!

Crispy Baked Parmesan Green Bean Fries by Dashing Dish

Ingredients

4 C fresh green beans

1/4 C grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 t garlic powder

1/4 t sea salt

1/8 t pepper (to taste)

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil, and spray with non-stick cooking spray. {I prefer this natural olive oil sprayer to avoid synthetic nonstick sprays}

Wash and snip off the ends of green beans.
Place on prepared baking pan, making sure none are laying on top of each other to ensure even crispness. Sprinkle seasonings and parmesan cheese evenly over green beans.
