Delicious Twist: Parquet floors

My favorite thing about Tasty Tuesday? It gives me carte blanche to discuss anything I find yummy! Today’s usual recipe is a bit delayed {but will be WELL worth the wait, I promise} so I decided to bring you a little sweet treat to tide you over: gorgeous decor.

I think the ultimate indulgence is the lovely look of Parquet floors. They’re warm, inviting, graphic and endlessly classic.

They’re definitely going on the dream home wish-list. For now, I’m just afraid I might have to go to Paris to find them! Wouldn’t that just be terrible…

  1. I’m obsessed with the herringbone pattern! Looks so well defined and adds that spot of interest that I love.

  2. Love the stain on the second photo…perfection!

I love both the herringbone and chevron, but I have to give the edge to the herringbone.

  6. Nothing beats a real wooden parquet floor (or wooden planks floor). I would not move into a home if it had another kind of flooring.

  7. you can find appartments like that in croatia too… i just bought one myself in the old town od Zagreb… we renewed everything and it looks almost like the one in your pictures…. herringbone floors and 4meters high seling
