Happy {One Foot in Front of the Other} Weekend

If the one constant in life is change, why is it so hard to get used to it? Being on a roller coaster ride of forward motion is certainly thrilling, but some days it’s hard to fight the urge to simply jump off the speeding train.

Uncharted territory awaits us friends, and while I’m nervous, more than anything I’m really excited. This little Apartment 34 world is about to get bigger! It’s a little hard to imagine having a more than a team of 1 around here! Oh what fun we’re going to have.

There have been some other fun, some serious and some just plain silly things going on around the interwebs this week. Here are a few of my favorites:

~ This is about the cutest thing ever. And yes, as a proud Frenchie owner, I am very biased.

~ I’ve been heavily resisting the nail art trend, but Camille rounded up a mix I actually want to try

~ I shared my requirements for The Good Life with my girl, Vanessa

~ This article, questioning the validity of blogging {as it relates specifically to fashion bloggers, mind you}, sparked this debate, which is also being discussed here. I’m totally fascinated {and opinionated of course}. Are you?

Oh and next week some major, huge, very exciting news is going to go on up in here! I do hope you make it a point to drop by to see!!

Till Monday,

  1. Definitely thought the blog debate that surfaced this week was an interesting, if not very heated, one. To be perfectly honest, I think there is more than enough room for blogs and traditional media to coexist. Can’t we all just be friends?!

  2. Thanks so much for the link, darling! I agree – those are actually some bold nails that make me want to break my neutral nail addiction! Hope you have the loveliest of weekends…full of little fashion risks, too! ;)

    OMG – are you pregnant?

  4. An early congratulations to you on your big news!
That Suzy Menkes article is interesting. Have you seen the stylebubble.com response as well? I’ll boil it down to one sentence – bloggers are content creators and the professional, articulate, insightful ones can add meaningful dialogue.

  5. Erin, are you expecting? If so, many congratulations! I’d love to get in touch as we are about to release our SS2013 made to measure fashion maternity collection, maybe you could pick something to try?
How is best to contact you?
