4:00 PM Fashion Fix: {Meredith Wendell}

If you thought neons went out with 2012, think again my dears. Ultra-bright hues are still going strong for spring, epitomized by the Meredith Wendell Accessories Collection.

The eponymous line was created by a designer who summered in the eclectic hotels of the West Virginia shore. Today, Meredith puts a vibrant spin on everything she touches.

Last week, fashion inspiration mecca, Polyvore launched a new campaign they’re calling Designer Collective to help boost awareness for up-and-coming design talent — like Meredith Wendell!

Polyvore is showcasing an exclusive group for their millions of users to not only see, but also interact with. The other inaugural members include luxury accessories designer Alejandro Ingelmo, fashion jewelry and accessories brand DANNIJO and contemporary footwear brand Madison Harding.

While I’ve spied Meredith Wendell here and there over the years (my go-to SF boutique Carrots has carried her line for quite some time) I’m excited to see boutique designers get thrown onto another major national stage.

I was particularly excited to be given the challenge of styling a piece from Meredith’s spring line! You’ll have to wait for the big reveal until next week, but I can at least give you a sneak peek at one of my inspiration boards!

Neon Accents with Meredith Wendell

I can’t wait to show you my final look. In the meantime, check out fellow Polyvore Social Set members, Ramshackle Glam and Trop Rogue’s take on Meredith Wendell too!

What do you think? Will you be rocking the neon trend again this spring??
