Ok, how hard is it to only buy for other people when you’re Christmas shopping? So hard, right?! I always feel pretty guilty when I walk out of the store with something for myself {I try to adhere to the two-for-them, one-for-me rule!}, but I can usually find a way to support my purchase by looking back at all of the hard work I’ve put into the past year and realizing, I deserve it!

Team Apartment 34 took some time to reflect on 2013 this past weekend and I must say, I think we each deserve something extra special before the year ends. We’ve really kicked 2013’s you know what and I’m confident you must have too. Take three minutes to write down what you have accomplished this year. You might be surprised to find you’re not giving yourself the credit you deserve. It’s time to indulge in your achievements, bid 2013 adieu and snag something from our Ultimate Wish List!

When I think of my top indulgences, they’re almost always a fabulous addition to my wardrobe. Boots are my weakness- you just have to have them in every style and color. These pebbled leather knee highs are so sexy {and 50% OFF!}! At that price, they’re at the tippy-top of my wish list. By now, it’s no secret that Illesteva is one of my favorite sunglass companies. They are my everyday statement-makers and I don’t see anything wrong with adding one more pair to my arsenal, especially when they’re also on sale!

It’s too easy to fall into the trap of buying cheap jewelry these days, but believe me, no matter how many times you go back to testing the waters of a $12 ring, it’s just going to turn green – and your finger along with it. I’m slowly beginning to build my collection of good pieces and if you haven’t, start with this gorgeous rose gold ring set which is perfect for stacking or wearing alone.

I love the empowering feeling I get when I treat myself to something really nice. It’s totally worth bypassing all those I don’t-really-need-it impulse buys. As a hard working woman, there is no need to wait on someone else to spoil you. So let’s cheers to a happy closet and happy holidays, ladies!
