Before everyone runs away to enjoy their holiday and say so long (or f*off in my case) to 2016, I did want to let you all know something! We’re hiring Winter Interns at Apt34! Are you passionate about style and design? Are you interested in production management, social media, graphic design or writing? Then this might be your lucky day.
We’re looking for a new class of interns to help make the Apartment 34 world run smoothly. Over the (many!) years of doing this now, I’ve come to learn what works and what doesn’t in this crazy blogging business and one thing is for certain: you’re only as good as the people around you. So I need the most incredible, kick ass, ready to take names intern to join Team Apartment 34 from January – March, 2017. I’ve outlined all the details below. If you think you can rock the Apartment 34 world, read on.

We’re looking for one, possibly two interns to check out the world of online publishing with Apartment 34. Are you interested in styling photo shoots? Working with brands? Writing? Coming up with story ideas? Learning what it takes to run your own business? You’ll get it all around here. If you’d like to learn about everything it takes to create a successful lifestyle website on the daily and are ready to dive in and get your hands dirty, the Apartment 34 world is likely for you. Requirements for intern applicants are listed below. Please read carefully. DO NOT apply if the following doesn’t describe you to a tee.
> Part time position, 10-20 hours a week, duty dependent
> Must possess exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail and crazy go-getter initiative
> Only highly motivated self-starters with a passion for lifestyle topics and some seriously good taste need apply
> Strong grasp of all major social media platforms necessary. Experience with WordPress, graphic design and/or Adobe Photoshop a huge plus
> High level of creativity & ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously required
> Living in the Bay Area with ability to meet in person strongly preferred, remote applicants will be accepted
> Compensation dependent on final role definition and skill set of applicant
> Can be applied to school credit
> Flexibility, willingness to try new things & the ability to work in a (highly) nontraditional environment a must!
