There are two things I love in equal amounts: great spaces and yummy food. They ought to go hand in hand, don’t you think? So I decided to try out a new take on our regular Tasty Tuesday series – this time pairing a stunning dish with a perfectly paired place in which I’d love to it! I hope you find the combo as delicious as I do.

When I spotted my absolute favorite dessert, tiramisu, topped with fresh figs the first thing that raced through my brain was why didn’t I think of that?! The second thought was Pin immediately! I’d love to serve this dish to a summer dinner party set.

I know it would taste even better in a light filled dining room with my of-the-moment flower, protea.

Both the dish and the space are making me drool shamelessly!

Be sure to check out more of this charming Sydney cafe, designed by landscape architect Phoebe Pape, in Vogue Living Australia {btw, loving the name Phoebe right now!}

  1. For some odd reason I am too scared to try fresh figs so I have no idea what they actually taste like but they sure do look pretty!! I might need to get over my fear and try this recipe 🙂

  2. Great idea for a post, I agree they should go hand in hand. Should not have looked at this before bed though…sounds so good.
