Now that the cat’s out of the bag that I’m officially working from home, my office envy is on overdrive {project!}. These two options almost sent me over the edge.

These two spaces have all the key pieces on my dream office wish list. Oh what I wouldn’t give for a stunning desk – particularly love the expansive white one, all the better to spread my magazines, tear sheets and laundry lists on.

I also think work would feel better when completed while sitting in a high designed desk chair. I blame Kate for this.

I’m also drooling over that giant monitor. Yes, I covet tech-geeky gadgets too.

Floor to ceiling inspiration walls, vintage shop lamps, and found treasures lying about would also be lovely.

I might just start by moving my french water wine jug, {one of my best Alameda finds to date!} onto my desk…

Hmmm, check Facebook today to see how it turns out!

  1. I can't wait until my freelance career increases a bit more so I can 1. build the office of my dreams and 2. photograph it and make it a place that creativity flourishes.

    Great photos!

  2. I love both of these offices. They are very much my same aesthetic. I like spaces that look like a man or woman could live/work there. I dream of the day I can work from home. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. How exciting! As a long follower of your blog I can say that you'll do wonderfully! And sometimes the times that scare us the most are when the most growth and learning happen! On a side note, I love the latter as decor in the first picture.

  4. The chair in the first picture is a stunner! Congratulations on the working from home — it can be a life changer (in a good way!) for most people.

  5. I just started working from home and it is the best! You will love it. Congrats on the change.

  6. I love my large computer monitor. I've got blogs on the right side and Modern Family playing on the left side. It's wonderful.
