As you’ve probably seen by now, this year  Gap has been partnering with Rue Magazine for their campaign called

Each edition features real bloggers modeling a Gap item mixed with pieces pulled from their own closets! This time around Rue and Gap brought it all home, back to San Francisco that is, where both happen to be based, and whatta ya know, so do I!

When they asked if I would join some of my very best blogger friends to be one of the San Francisco crew, I couldn’t say yes fast enough. We actually all gathered in the Loft 2.0 for our shoot and I’m so excited to finally share the results with you!

Here’s what you might have already spied in yesterday’s new issue of Rue Magazine {it’s a stunner btw, have you flipped through it?! Didn’t you just love Liz and Taylor’s looks too?}

But of course I had to share a few of our outtakes! My first look was obviously focused on my new found love for statement pants.

We piled layers both below and on top  of Gap’s minna soda wash T, mix and matching prints and color tones for a look that would work for..well work and after-hours cocktails! I’d only need to ditch my day bag for a leather zip clutch before happy hour!

But of course, we also had to d0 a wardrobe change. The second ensemble continued the layering trend – this time putting one of Gap’s iconic striped sweaters {similar to this one} over a softer dress. The effect grew on me. I just might throw a little navy blazer on top of this look and head out on a birthday dinner date with my hubby next week!

And since we’re about to say hello to the holiday season {November how did you arrive so swiftly??}, Gap also asked each of us make a few gift picks. I have a feeling this is going to be the ultimate holiday gift guide!

I made selects for my blogger BFF’s to keep them inspired, productive and looking good well into 2013. Here’s what I rounded up!

1. Ampersand poster

2. iPhone case

3. Calendar

4. Cork pencil cup

5. Gap snood

6. Magazine

7. Leather bound journal

8. Gap color block tunic

9. MacBook sleeve

10. Geometric necklace

Although now I realize all my friends know what they’re getting!

I highly recommend checking back frequently as more shopping recommendations will be popping up in Rue and at I cannot thank them both enough for having me!!
