Ever since we saw this trend trotting down the Spring14 runways, we’ve been waiting, for what seems like EVER, to rock a palm on the front of our shirt. So we’re more than a little excited, while summer isn’t officially here just yet, that it’s finally feeling like it! We don’t know about you, but we’re declaring it summer-y enough to move past spring and fully embrace the palm tree trend!

Whether it be in the form of decor details, fashion accessories or even temporary gold tattoos {have you seen these babies?!}, palm trees are the IT icon for the season.

Thankfully, many designers are already on board! From Kenzo, Tibi and Moschino to Zara, they have done most of the work for us, making available a modern interpretation of the good ‘ole Luau shirt for all to enjoy. Love it or hate it, the palm print certainly makes a statement. “I’d rather be anywhere with palm trees and drinks served in coconuts” sounds about right!

  1. Loving this trend and all the pineapples I’m seeing :)Those green palm pants are the cutest – but Its probably because they are on the gorgeous model – I don’t know if I could pull them off 🙂

  2. I love this trend all natural. Really amazes me. I ‘m also using this on my projects and now I found a perfect suit: Brabbu. You know them? So many nature on their pieces. I love the Koi tables!
