Ok ok, I won’t say it yet! It is still only the middle of November and we do have to get through Thanksgiving, but in an attempt to avoid all the end of year mad dashes I’m trying to get a jump on holiday prep. I am determined to carve out time to sit back and actually enjoy my December. That means both making my gift lists and sprucing up my own space ahead of time.
This will really be the first holiday season we get to enjoy with a finished house (no, I haven’t done the official final reveal yet, but something BIG is in the works). That means I have major nesting, decorating and entertaining on the brain. This holiday, it’s about more than just decorations for me — it’s about making my house a home for everyone that passes through it.
Thankfully, I’ve got Overstock.com to help me bring all of the dreams I’ve had dancing in my head to fruition. Overstock helps shoppers tackle the demands of the holiday season by providing a one-stop shop for all your holiday needs – ultimately making it is easier than ever to prepare your home for the season, entertain friends and family, give gifts (for yourself or others) and get organized after the holiday craziness without breaking the bank. Once we make it through turkey day (did you see my post on my hunt for the perfect vegetarian dish for Thanksgiving?!), I’ll be partnering with Overstock to share all my best tips for getting your house guest-ready, decking the halls and playing hostess without breaking (much!) of a sweat.
To help you get a jumpstart on the season I’ve also curated a few of my favorite pieces on Overstock (along with five other of my fave blogger peeps). This holiday season, I’m all about the “special.” Rather than look for a thousand things, it’s about finding THE thing. I’ve taken the guesswork out of it for you, finding the perfect gifts that will add immediate style to virtually any space, because everyone deserves to enjoy the benefits of good design in their home! These pieces would make fab gifts, but would also add a nice touch to your own house. I think buying things for oneself is totally acceptable pre-black Friday right??
This post is in partnership with Overstock.com. Thank you for supporting collaborations we’re excited about and that have kept apartment 34’s doors open.
