I’ve cut down how much I talk about shopping around here significantly. That’s partly because I want to embody the minimalist philosophy I so often espouse. It’s also because when looking for cool things to feature, I always fall victim to the temptation and buy something for myself! However, this year I’m testing myself by sharing 10 things you need from my favorite finds again, all while reveling in the covet, rather than the purchase. We’ll see how this goes.

I’m currently coveting just about everything from Hawkins New York. I’ve seen pieces from this Brooklyn-based design house at other boutiques for the last couple of years, but I hadn’t gone to look at their website directly. Big mistake. Huge. Scroll. You’ll see. From textiles to dishware, candlesticks to pendant lights, everything Hawkins New York makes or carries is highly covetable. I’m obsessed with that concrete toilet brush holder (did you know you needed that?!). I also love that they’ve collaborated with Alyson Fox on rugs. So while it’s probably a stretch to say you need any of these pieces, your world might be a little happier and your home would certainly be a touch more beautiful with a Hawkins New York item in it!

Now I’m going to go back to oogling all the things I’m not buying (yeah right).
