As I’m endlessly searching for the perfect pieces to finish off our house, I was rather ecstatic to learn that one my faves, Consort Design is launching its own furniture collection! And it’s good people. Rurl good.
I mean, that mirrored console with triangular nobs. Sadly, this is the only teeny tiny sneak peek currently available because the line doesn’t actually go live until April, but trust me I’m going to be counting down the days. Just look at the amazing dining table legs!
So while I’m waiting around for that table, you can check out these links:
Big and bold design was the theme of the week and while it’s not my typical look, this Australian home is really convincing.
Victoria also found this stunning house that keeps the bold and beautiful design ball rolling.
HonestlyWTF proves that print on print on print is a good thing.
But, if black and white is more your thing (like me), then you have to see this kitchen.
And this designer’s entire portfolio is serious eye candy.
In un-design related things:
Do you meditate? I keep trying to convince myself to try it.
Have you seen the New York Times new series Overlooked? They’re profiling significant women in history who never got obituaries in the New York Times (whose obituaries section almost exclusively features men). The piece on Sylvia Plath is so good.
And why Cat Sadler is a badass #timesup.
And what you might have missed around here:
Some more spring-inspired color.
What you need to cook this weekend.
The hottest new wine bar in San Francisco.
Happy weekend friends!
