So I know we already talked about spring fashion trends this week, but the near 75 degree San Francisco weather and the thought of getting my pre-pregnancy closet back very soon has me a tad obsesed. Because as much as I love my ripped skinnies, statement coats and a good It Bag, I’m definitely feeling ready for something totally new. Once I get my pre-baby body back, I’m going to be trying one of these adventurous spring match-ups that are so surprisingly unexpected, I think they totally work!

Unexpected Match-Up #1: Skirt Over Pants Silhouette. The most trend-setting women are finding new ways to layer – with a dress or skirt over pants! An odd match at first, but the fashion forward look and its eye-catching silhouette is what makes this trend turn heads, in a good way!

Unexpected Match-Up #2: Tasseled Accessories. No amount of tassel is too much this spring! Wear gobs of them on your pants, string pounds of them on your purse and have fun letting them fly on your feet. The easiest way to add them into your wardrobe is with a show-stopping accessory! We’ve already added more than one to our wishlist.

Unexpected Match-Up #3: Bare Backs and Buttons. We’re going to see a lot of skin this spring, but in a totally unexpected way. Business in the front and party in the back is a matchup that we fully support because business shouldn’t have to be boring! Simply flip your button up around  – and wear the avant garde look with confidence!
