You guys, I had an entirely different home tour prepped and ready to go for you today, but then I stumbled upon what I can securely say might be the holy grail. My dream house realized. All the components I’ve ever wanted; the style, the decor, everything is wrapped into this stunning beachside villa. It being located in Australia (and owned by someone else!) is only a minor hiccup. Just start scrolling. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
While actually a vacation home (must be nice), timeless European details are woven in throughout this house, grounding each space and making it feel as if it’d been that way for years. If you didn’t look out the windows, you could just as easily be in Paris, rather than mere steps from the beach.
The modern black and white color palette is right up my alley. The beautiful white walls are softened with the wainscoting and crown molding used throughout the house. The dark herringbone floors are making me rethink my own decision to go with gray-stained oak! Black decor accents are everywhere, adding a sultry sexiness to the home, while warm camel-toned accents like wood bowls and leather chairs lighten the mood. All the furnishing have clean lines and a classic modern quality. Contemporary art adds a current edge. Just keep scrolling and gawking. It’s ok.
A simple master bedroom offers a relaxing respite. Love the pop of print on the pillows!
A little dot of millennial pink in the guest bedroom feels so right right now.
A peek into the bathroom only leaves me wanting more. Obsessed with that vintage brass mirror and wall sconces.
From top to bottom, inside and out this home is practically perfect in every way. I shouldn’t be surprised I find this home so stunning. The design firm behind it, Alexander&Co., also designed the Watsons Bay Beach Club which I profiled on the blog nearly three years ago!
Ok, it’s time to take a fresh look around our house and see where I can invoke these vibes. Or take a trip to Australia. Or both. A girl can dream.

Loving the combination of natural finishes here, the marble and the different tones of wood compliment each other beautifully. I totally get it, why this is your dream home, saw the outdoor dining area and thought the same as well, it’s breathtaking.
Seriously amazing isn’t it Anki!
…the entrance and the staircase is so worthy. This is my favorit. I like the emptyness, the right placed pictures and the whole atmosphere from this house.
It’s a perfect balance of restraint and ease and comfort. I just can’t stop looking over and over again
Thank you so much for featuring our project!
You’re most welcome Charlene – I’m obsessed with your work! I wish I could get your advice on my living room!
