Have you heard the news? Bell bottoms are baaaack! That’s right, this season the hippie-loving denim trend is back in all of its bell-shaped glory. A bit slimmer through the knees than your standard trouser jean and all that statement-making width at the bottom, the reintroduction of the flare has us predicting this summer is going to be full of fun, care-free fashion moments. The key to pulling it off? Not taking the trend to a full-on 70’s psychedelic level. We’ve rounded up the most seriously chic fashionistas to help lead the way!

Dragging on the floor {very important detail – these babies have gotta be long long long}, from light wash to black, your flares won’t need much more to pack a fashion punch. Think equally pumped up silhouettes like balloon tops, tunics and shirt dresses paired with the highest pumps you can find and you are in business! The only question left is: do you dare to flare?

  1. Great post! I love my new flares but seem to be the only one wearing them round these parts as I think lots of us are struggling to part with our skinnies. These pics show how to nail the look, thank you!

  2. I am so excited about this, you have no idea how much. I hates skinny jeans so much, almost no one looks good in them. Flares/bell bottoms though work on virtually all body types and I love the silhouette of them.

I’m so excited to buy pants!!

  3. yes I’m inspired now! all of these looks are perfect! i think bell bottoms look best either way lighter or darker.

  4. Love this chic way of incorporating a revolving trend. I must admit that I’m digging this trend, and may be a little too giddy that clogs are apart of the SS15/AW15 comeback!
